The typical timeline
- Extraction & mitigation: same day — we pump out water and set up drying equipment on the first visit
- Structural drying: usually 3–5 days with commercial air movers and dehumidifiers, monitored daily until moisture readings are normal
- Repairs/reconstruction: from a few days (paint, trim) to a few weeks (flooring, drywall, larger rebuilds)

How long water sat, how far it spread, the materials involved (hardwood and plaster dry slower), and the extent of repairs. We monitor moisture with meters rather than guessing, so drying ends when your home is genuinely dry — not a day early (mold risk) or later than needed.
